About our Interior Design

Design Philosophy

Everyone wants a home that is not just beautiful, but also comfortable and functional—a space that reflects their own unique style and personality. This is the philosophy of Stacy Ewing Interiors—to create homes that are intimate expressions of their owners, each one a personal journey that ends up as an individual work of art. Each one fresh and new.

A well-designed room incorporates five basic principles: proportion, balance, rhythm, emphasis, and harmony; and seven elements: space, line, shape, texture, pattern, light, and color. It is with the skillful wielding of these tools that we are able to create not only visually pleasing spaces, but spaces that inspire and even challenge. Spaces that create a dialogue.

Stacy Ewing is passionate about interior design—it is not about keeping up with the Jones’, it is about the unexpected. Whether in the use of color or textures, bringing new life into vintage or reclaimed objects—this is about metamorphosis, this is about passion and excellence. This is design.

Stacy’s interior design training began at age 13 when she defied her mother and painted her own bedroom HER way. Then proceeded to design a complete color palette and paint the entire home. Delving into the role of master floral designer began at age 14.

With a 4th child on the way, in the midst of a recession and a career change, it was time for Stacy to hang out her design shingle. Her first showroom opened in November 2008 in Parker CO and expanded in 2011 to become Colorado Villa Décor in the Outdoor Vistas at Park Meadows Mall, then opening her design studio in the heart of the Tech Center on the top floor of the Hitachi building!

In 2008, Stacy Ewing opened her first of 3 retail stores known as Colorado Villa De Cor showroom and design studio in Parker, Palmer Lake and Park Meadows Retail Resort in prestigious Lonetree, Colorado.  After winning the National ARTS AWARDS and while making a name for herself in the design field as Stacy Ewing Interiors, Ewing relocated her firm to the top floor of the Hitachi Building to continue to build strength and motivation from the Mountain and Lake views.

Today, Stacy Ewing’s  firm and new studio is located in the heart of Denver’s Tech Center Area and offers full-service composition from concept through completion for residential, commercial and hospitality projects.
